• Visual browsing of items that show relationships across data e.g. see ideas at http://infosthetics.com/
• Map-based views of items
• Search across Creative Commons licensed material about NZ by connecting DigitalNZ items with Flickr and other sources
• Experiment with connecting DigitalNZ with http://hoard.it e.g. connecting with this data feed
• Use the Yahoo term extractor across DigitalNZ text to present a tag-based view of content
• Present DigitalNZ content through charts with the Google charts API 
• Tag cloud / information visualisation of DigitalNZ subject terms so we can see the range of content areas & gaps in coverage
