Getting started
Contributing content to Digital New Zealand projects is (in most cases) a simple process that requires little effort on your behalf.
What you need to do
- Email info@digitalnz.org to register your interest in being part of DigitalNZ and let us know what kind of content you have (such as images, documents, multimedia).
- Make your content digital and get it online. If you don’t have a website or any other means, you can store material in the DigitalNZ Kete or the Shared Repository for research outputs.
- Agree to the terms of use for contributing content, and understand what contributing means.
- We'll send you confirmation to let you know what we’ll be doing. See sample letter for contributing to DigitalNZ discovery tools in PDF (292 KB) or DOC (240 KB).
- Work with us to get your content technically connected to DigitalNZ services (such as the search system and APIs).
- Sit back and watch as NZers and the rest of the world find, share and use your content.
